Customers get compromised, usually through their own applications, and we are the ones who notice. This role watches for it, cleans it up, and feeds what we learn back into how we defend the platform.
What you will do
- Monitor security alerts and triage what is real
- Investigate compromised customer sites and lead the clean-up
- Run malware scanning and blacklist monitoring, and act on the results
- Track vulnerabilities in the software our customers run and warn them early
- Write up incidents so the same route cannot be used twice
What we are looking for
- Security monitoring and incident triage experience
- Understanding of common web application attacks and how they land
- Log analysis across web, mail and system logs
- You are careful about customer data and access
Nice to have
- Malware analysis and site clean-up
- WordPress security specifically
- SIEM tooling
